Installing C7180 on Lion

Tried installing the C7180 on my new iMac with OS X Lion.  The iMac sees the printer on USB and network (tried both ways) and asks if i would like to install.  I then get a setup box saying "software is available from Apple. Would you like to download and install it."  I click "download and install." and a "finding software" box comes up.  After about 30 secs a new box appears that says the software is unavailable and to contact the manufacturer.  On the HP page it says to get the software via the apple software update, but it keeps telling me all of my software is up to date.

Any suggestions?

Download and install the full HP Printer Software package, tehn add your printer by using the Plus sign under Print & Scan:

Um, 404 on that link.

However, following the guidelines to go to the system preferences and set up the scanner in Print and Scan worked well for direct scanning.   No longer seems to let me mount the SD card I have in the printer, so I have to sneakernet that to the Lion Mac.
