I have a 4215. I both switched from Mac OS 10.4 to 10.5 and migrated to another computer. The printer works; the scanner does not work. The HP site only has "print only" drivers for download, and they seem to have only been updated about 3 or 4 years ago. When I manually open the HP communicator, I get a message that says "error: HP Communicator application is not working." It says to hit reset or quit. But, the message just comes back again when I hit the reset button, leaving quit as the only option. Is there a way anyone has found to get the application and scanner working again, or is the printer/scanner just no longer compatible with Mac's OS?
