Is Officejet Pro 8500 A909g CB023A Printer AirPrint /e-Print capable? If not, can it be upgraded.?

I have purchased an Apple iPad new version (ver 3?) and am trying to find an iPad app that will let me print from the iPad  to my HP wireless printer - an Officejet Pro 8500 All-in One A909g model # CB023A.  Most of the better reveiwed apps call for an AirPrint or e-Print capable printer for printing to a wireless printer.  Is my printer so capable, or if not can I upgrade it somehow to be capable?  I'm hoping for the less expensive options, but will consider all options. HP's free app at the Apple store is not reviewed very well compared to most of the iPad apps that require AirPrint or e-Print.

Hi Jeff,

The Officejet 8500 (A909a) do not support ePrint or Apple Airprint.

The services above cannot be added and provided for the latest products only.

However, you may print using the HP ePrint Home & Biz app.
