I've been using this printer via direct USB connection from an older MacBook Pro for several years. I had a similar problem when I first set up that machine. Now, I've upgraded to MacBook Pro 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo running Mac OS X v. 10.5.6.
I am having no success getting the printer to function. I get the following indication in the print Status window:
Printer busy (status:0xe00002e9)
Of course I have searched the forums high and low and out of desperation, uninstalled and reinstalled all the HP software and updated drivers without success.
Any help would be much appreciated!
