LaserJet P1505 and Snow Leopard

I have an iMac with Snow Leopard (10.6.1) installed. I can only print a test page right now. I understand that HP is working on a driver that will work with Snow Leopard but it is not ready yet? Any idea how long this takes? Is there a work-around for now?
