I have just bought a Laserjet 100 color MFP M175nw and I am unable to establish a wireless connection. I have a macbook pro running OSX10.7.3 and I've been able to print using a USB conection. The blue wireless light is flashing, which I think means that it is trying to establish a connection with my computer. The computer can "see" a "HP-Print-b9-Laserjet 100" wifi network but if I try and connect to it, it can't establish a connection. Any help gratefully received!
Thanks.

Hi CKD101,
Do you have a wireless network set up at home? If so, your printer is not yet connected to that network.
The network "HP-Print-b9-Laserjet 100" is the wireless direct ssid for your printer for on the spot printing, but is based on activity in a way (if there is no activity on the connection - i.e. Print jobs - the connection terminates).
I would recommend (if you have a home wireless network) connecting your printer to your home network for a more permanent wireless solution. If you don't havea home wireless network, but are wanting to print wifi regardless, you can create an ad-hoc connection on your Mac and then connect your LJ Pro 100 to that adhoc network for the same effect.
Please let me know if you need further details or have any questions on any of the info above.
Thanks!

Hi Hubbs, thanks for your reply.
I would like to connect the printer to my home network. How would I go about doing this? As I have OSX 10.7.3, I can't use the CDs that came with the printer. When I connect with the USB, my laptop automatically downloaded the driver but I don't have any set-up software.
Thanks again for your help.

You can download the full feature software and drivers from the following link:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL41269/
The installer should have an option for you to connect wirelessly during the setup assistant portion.
Please go through this and let me know if you have any questions or run into any issues, and I can assist your further.
Thanks!

Hi,
My HP Laserket Pro 100 COLOUR MFP M175 Series stoped scanning all of a sudden. It can print but no longer scan. I get an error report that the printer is curently in use while its not practically in use.
What could be the cause of this?
Thanks

There could be a few different things going wrong. Before I get started, what version of OS X are you using, and how is the printer connected to the Mac?
