MAC and C5580 BT printing

Appear to have a connection between my Macbook and a Photosmart C5580 printer using Bluetooth as BT stub on printer flashes for the connection and MAC says "printer ready", but when I hit SEND, get error message, "Transfer forbidden, Transfer failed". Any thoughts?

I'm not too familiar with the Mac OS. You should've posted this in the MAC Printing section of the forum.

anyways, did you enter the Bluetooth Passkey(usually 0000) while setting up the connection between the Macbook and the printer?

I checked all of the printer and MAC settings including access and keys per the printer and MAC manuals for BT. It appears that no connection is being established between the two using BT although the printer BT stub  sometime flashes once or twice. Printer works fine using USB connection.  Any thoughts?
