Mac (Lion) does not see new photosmart 6510 printer over my wireless network on Huawei g532
Connection functions with a standard USB cable

But no wireless functionalty.

My Ipad running an HP app does not see the printer either

Printer   HP Photosmart 6510

Mac   Lion OS X 10.7.3

Router  HUAWEI Echolife HG532

Printer is connected to the network.

from the configuration page we have

802.11 Wireless

SIGNAL QUALITY 5

Channel 1

Authentication type WPA-PSK

Encryption Automatic (AES or TKP

Port 9100 status enabled

Bonjour status enabled

Hi,

Any Apple device uses Apple Bonjour in order to discover the product the device over the network.

For Bonjour to function propertly, the router need to support Multicasting.

Based on other threads across the web the Huawei HG532 router does not support multicasting / Bonjour.

It might worth updating the router firmware and check if that may help. Therefore It is probably worth contacting their customer support. Here are some threads on that router and Bonjour:
