I have just purchased and installed the HP4580, and have received a confirmation HP Network Confirmation Page. On the 4580 the blue wireless light is on, and the panel shows Scan/Reprint, plus the two Start Copy buttons. I use Firefox. I get a page on my screen that I want to print. I click on File, then Print on the dropdown menu. Dropdown screen appears, and I make sure that HP Photosmart 4500 series is shown in the Printer field, and other fields are filled out.
Problem: Nothing happens. I then go to manual by clicking on the Start Copy buttons. Still nothing. What's wrong??

Hi Wi-Fi Guy -
My 4580 idles after not being used for a while. Really annoying.
I *can* see it from Bonjour. It does report its ink levels and such.
What next to try?
I would like to wake up and print even if I have not used it for a few days/weeks.
THANKS!

It sounds like you have run into the C45xx sleep problem. Go here and apply the firmware critical update for your printer.
