That is odd. You are missing quite a bit of stuff. Let's just clear stuff out and start from scratch.
- Go to Applications/Hewlett Packard/HP Uninstaller and run it.
- Go to Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility and highlight your harddrive on the left side and click on Repair Disk Permissions
- Reboot your MacBook
- Go to hp.com and download the latest software for your Printer and run it.
- Let it go through the both the installation process and the setup assistant.
- Try the print job again.
