Photosmart 3210 All-in-one
Mac OS 10.6.8
HP software: HP_Installer_Photosmart_Full_Group12_10.3.dmg
This is my 1st attempt to scan old 35mm color slides. On the first trial, the scanner produced four good images. On the next scanning attempts, it only produced one image containing the four slides, and a message in the printer says "No scan options".
I've tried your troubleshooting ideas: unpluggng the printer, uninstalling/reinstalling the HP software & driver.
All other printer functions word OK. Any Ideas??

Happy Monday! Lets try reseting the printing system. You can do this by:
Going to System Preferences > Print & Scan
- Right (or control) click in the rectangle listing your printers and select Reset Printing System.
WARNING - this will delete ALL of your printers!
- Select the plus sign to re-add a printer. Select the Default tab on the top of the window. Look for the printer, select it and wait until the "Add" button becomes available. Click it.
Let me know if this resolves your issue!

Thanks Sean. The scanning is now producing induvidual images. But I had todo several other procedures.
I Reset the printer per your instructions, but had the same negative results.
I then disconnected the printer power and signal cables, then reconnected them, and restarted the printer. I then reset the printer per you instructions. I restarted "HP Scan" from my iMac, selected Slides from the HP scan profiles, and pressed "Scan". The result was four individual images.
Thank you very much. macintod
