I can confirm that the method above from HP Mac Architect  works for me with some differences.

Note I have a P1505 plugged into a "g" Airport Express USB and my network is run by an "n" Airport Extreme Base station. When I did my port scan I found port "9100 hp-pdl-datastr"

Following the instructions to use the HP Jetdirct - Socket my printer address looked like this: "HP-LaserJet.local:9100"

The URL showing up under printer info is now "URL: socket://HP-LaserJet.local:9100/" 

My P1505 is printing wirelessly again! This probably works for the P1005 and P1006 as well.

I've now lost manual duplex which is a real problem. Any idea when manual duplex will appear?

Is there any way of rolling back the printer driver update on Mac Leopard? I've tried removing the drivers and reinstalling the old ones but the Mac keep seeing the new version.

Please don't forget your promise to release a driver update that supports manual duplex (two sided printing). We've been waiting a while for it now.

I agree.  Its been over 7 months since the announcement of the first drivers being available.

Would really like to get my duplex back
