No Wireless Two-Sided Printing to HP Photosmart C309g-m from MacBook

I have a MacBook 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo running 10.7.3. My printer is an HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m. When connected to the printer through USB, I can select the Two-Sided printing option under Layout and print on both sides. When connected wirelessly through Time Capsule, the option is grayed out and it says it is turned Off. I don't have this problem with my MacMini running 10.5.8. The feature quit working while I was running Snow Leopard and I had hoped upgrading to Lion would resolve the issue, but no such luck. I've uninstalled all HP software and removed the printer from the printer list and re-added it. Any ideas what else I could try? Thanks for any help you can provide.

I already had that version installed, but I reinstalled it with fingers crossed, and nothing changed. Thank you for the suggestion though. I'm up for trying anything.

Bummer, sorry.  I see that the full feature software for 10.7 has not yet been released.  You could try the full feature software for 10.6 for this printer but I think it may cause other problems.  You can always uninstall it if it does not work right:

Thanks for the suggestion! I installed the driver from the CD that came with the printer and I'm back in the two-sided business! If I find trouble down the road, I'll go back to the latest driver and wait more patiently for an upgrade, but so far, so good! Kudos!

I am having the same problem with an OfficeJet Pro 8500.  Is there a different update I need to try for that printer?

Do you have HP software in your Applications folder?

(Do you also have 10.7 Lion)?
