Here's a solution to a problem for those who use BT's HomeHub as a router. When I upgraded to OS X 10.7.3, My Mac could no longer communicate with my CM11415, even though both the computer and the printer were connected to the same named network. WiFi was switched on, showed a full signal, and appeared to be active, both on the Mac and on the printer. Yet instructions to print kept producing "printer not found" messages.
I tried removing the printer driver from the "print & scan" System Preferences, only to find I could not add it back again. It simply didn't show up in any of the menus and panels I tried to access.
Next I downloaded the latest printer drivers and firmware for the CM1415fnw, but this did not help. I could add the firmware via the USB cable, but I could not complete the installation procedure for the drivers, even with the USB cable connected. The printer refused to show up in the devices panel at the point during installation when one is instructed to disconnect the USB cable.
Eventually, I noticed a button on the HomeHub router marked "Wireless Association". I pressed it to see what would happen. After a few minutes of flashing lights on the router, suddenly the CM1415fnw showed up in the devices panel in the Installation Setup and also in the "print & scan" System Preferences. So even though the Mac and the printer may each be communicating with the router, it does not necessarily mean that a three-way communication is happening, and the solution may not be where you think it ought to be!

Ha ha. Love Dan the Oboe Man's reply. We have had this printer for a few months. Worked well, setup was easy and uneventful. Then yesterday, it just stopped working. Through diagnostics, found that our laptops were not able to connect wirelessly to printer as we suspected. After a lot of hand wringing, searching forums, HP support, etc. we unplugged the **bleep** thing and plugged it back in. It works just fine. Really, really hate HP products; they don't "play well" with Mac.
