Hi,
I can find no way to print duplex to the Officejet Pro 8000 from Mac OS X. (I want to do so to be more environmentally friendly and save money.)
I have followed the instructions here but when I get to point 6 of step 3, there is no "Two-sided Printing panel" available to me.
The printer is connected over USB, and I am running HP Device Manager 1.5.8 which assures me my software is up to date. In Settings, Printer & Fax, it tells me I have driver version 1.2, and both "HP Two-sided Printing Accessory (Duplexer)" and "Optional Paper Input Tray" are ticked.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hope you don't mind but I have to bump this. I'm sure I must be doing something stupid. Any and all help much appreciated.
Thanks.

OK, feeling stupid, but coming back here in case anyone else suffers from the same blind spot. There's a blue square / triangle icon top right of the print dialogue pop-up. Click it.

I just got my 8000 set up wirelessly after 1.5 hours on the phone with an HP person. Thankfully, the 2 sided printing works automatically.
Make sure you printer knows it is two-sided:
Apple Icon/System Preferences/Print & Fax
Double Click on the 8000 printer
Click the blue I (info) button
Click driver tab
Check HP two-sided Printing Accessory
Under textedit choose:
File/Print
Then under the TextEdit dropdown, select Two-Sided Printing
Check Print Both Sides Checkbox
Under MS Word:
File/Print
Then under the Copies & Pages dropdown, select Two-Sided Printing
Check Print Both Sides Checkbox
Hope this helps!!
