Photosmart 5515 - how to set up duplex printing? and duplex print from M/s Word? [ Edited ]

I have recently bought a Photosmart 5515 for my  Mac.

1. I want to set printing default as duplex / double-sided and need some help as I can't see this as an option.

2. I am using Microsoft word and can't select a double-sided printing option - please can someone advise

I have trieds lot of forums and this is a common issue. Any advice would be welcome as I bought this to help reduce the amount of paper I use.

Hi,

Follow the steps below to perform Duplex pprinting from Office for Mac:

1. On the File menu, select Print. The Print window appears.
   NOTE: The Print window might be minimized. Click the blue triangle next to the product model (Mac OS X 10.6) or the Show Details button (10.7) to see all available settings.To select the binding type click the lowest selection box - Copies & Pages.
2. Select Layout from the drop-down menu.
3. Set the Two-Sided option as Long-Edge binding (Portrait), or Long-Edge binding (landscape).

You may save the settings for future use by clicking Presets > Save Current Settings as Preset...

I just bought a Photosmart 5515, running on Mac OS 10.5.8. I installed the printer with no trouble. However, I have been unable to find a duplex printing option that works in any Print dialog box (Word or otherwise). In Word there is a 'Two-sided' option but when I try to use it it tells me that the 'current paper size (A4) and paper typoe (plain) selctions do not support two-sided printing'. So how... ??

The driver/printer for the 5515 shows up in System Prefences as 'Photosmart 5510d series [DA 9873]  (not, I notice, 5515). Can anyone tell me how to get the printer to print both sides of the paper? The 5515 is a great little machine in all other respects but I bought it in part for the Duplex function. Thanks so much for any help here.

I have the same problem with xp. The driver/printer for the 5515 shows up in System Prefences as 'Photosmart 5510d series [DA 9873]  (not, I notice, 5515). And there is no possibility to use the duplex function. At first I used the driver on CD, then after deleting all, I try it with the online driver version. Thanks so much for any help here.
