Hi all,
Just got a new HP Photosmart 7515 All-in-One, but am having some trouble with the scan feature. When using the keypad, my preview shows the image of the full page, but once I scan, I only get a corner 1/3 of the page. I'm scanning to photo, if that means anything. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Tony

Hi Tony,
Which operating system are you using?
Is the printer connected by USB or through the network?

Hi Shlomil,
I'm using Mac OSX 10.6.8 Snow Leopard and connecting direct through USB. Haven't been able to set it up on the network yet, so am connecting physically.
Thanks for you help!

Hi Tony,
You are gladly welcome ![]()
Please follow the steps below to change the scan settings not to crop the picture:
1. Open the HP Utility and select your device.
2. From Scan Settings open the "Scan to Computer".
3. Click the "Scan Tasks" tab.
4. Select the Scan Shortcut used to scan, then click Edit.
5. In the section of Scan from an HP Device click on the blue triangle to enlarge the menu.
6. From the enlarged menu now open the drop-down menu next to Crop To and set as None.
7. Click OK and try scanning again.
Regards,
Shlomi

If you are using the same 7515, follow this guide: http://goo.gl/CfjnE
If not please provide the printer model and number to help narrow troubleshooting down.
Best of Luck!
