Photosmart B110 will not respond

Hello - I've got a B110 and a Mac running Lion 10.7.2. All of a sudden the printer will not respond. I've done a network test report and that is fine but when I try to print from the Mac, I get "Looking for printer" then "printing page 1 0% complete" and then finally I get the message "printer will not respond". When I use the HP utility and click on the printer in the devices tab, the device information shows "unknown" for model, service ID, etc though it does show the driver version as being " HP Inkjet 8 Driver 3.5.2. I have checked Apple Software Update and its telling me all my software is up to date.

I use the printer infrequently so I can't be sure whether this problem ocurred since 10.7.2 or before. It's certainly worked fine on Lion 10.7.

Need some help!!

Hello andychem, You may already have tried these Apple HP drivers, but if not,  Here  is the latest HP Printer drivers for Mac OS X Lion.

Hello - have tried reinstalling the drivers but to no avail! Are there any other suggstions as to how I can solve this problem?

Hello andychem, I checked the Apple site and the drivers for your printer are listed for your printer when using OS X Lion.

You may want to uninstall the HP printer, reboot your system and then try to reinstall the printer again.

Just some thoughts.

Don't know if you have solved your problem but I have the same but use my printer on a very regular basis so not down to Lion. If I turn off the printer and then back on it works, but only for a while, when suddenly it reverts to being 'not connected'. I use mine wirelessly from 2 different Macs so can only assume it is either the Router or the Printer
