Printer is attached directly to Mac Mini running Snow Leopard 10.6.  When attempting to scan, I get the following error: "Sorry, an unknown error occurred."

 

I can scan to the SD slot and transfer those pictures just fine, although when I attempt this, I get a Volume error as the printer writes the scan to the SD card.

 

Drivers are updated to what I believe are the latest (Device Manager reports 1.5.8). 

 

Thanks for any help you can provide.
