Photosmart Plus B209a offline

I have a MacBook Pro and am connecting wirelessly to a Photosmart Plus B209a.  When I go to print a document, it repeatedly tells me that the printer is offline.  I recently installed new drivers and have reset the power to the router and printer.  I am still offline.  Any suggestions on how to make my printer print?

What version of OS X?  From where did you get the HP software?  Was it labeled as being compatible with your version of OS X?  What router brand/model?

I am having the very same issue with the same printer.  I'm using Mac OS X Lion with a Belkin wireless G router, version 1102.  Can anyone tell me how to fix it?  It just randomly occurred tonight when I tried to print something.

Try restarting the router and checking to see that it has the latest firmware.

 

What kinkd of encryption (WEP, WPA, etc)?
