Print job being "Held"

I am using a Mac running OS10.6 and trying to configure an HP Officejet 6310xi. I have connected the printer to my network via ethernet to my router. I can see the printer by manually setting it up using the network's IP address. However when trying to print I get a message that the print job is being held. I can not get it to release by clicking on the "Hold" button. Any suggestions???

Re: Print job being "Held"

Reset the printing system:

- Go to System Preferences > Print & Scan
- Right (or control) click in the rectangle listing your printers and select Reset Printing System.
WARNING - this will delete ALL of your printers!
- Select the plus sign to re-add a printer. Select the Defualt tab on the top of the window. Look for the printer, select it and wait until the "Add" button becomes available. Click it.
