Readiris Pro 11 for Mac??

Thanks for posting this. I've sent in an email to ReadIris support asking them to supply a link to a DMG file, since it looks like your link is no longer active.

It's a shame--I was hoping to use this software ASAP, since I just got my Pro 8500 Premier today.  Hopefully it's better than my Canon MX850, which has terrible scan quality.

Finally decided to install Readiris Pro 11 (included with my 8500 Premiere) this morning and, yes, there is no Mac install function on the second CD. I'm so glad I found this thread. Just sent an email to IRIS tech support. I certainly hope something good comes of this. Wonder why on earth the Mac installer was omitted from the included CD?!?!?!?!?

I install the cd, click on the drive I-con and get this mesg.

To open Readiris Pro 11.5 HP, you need to install Rosetta.

To install Rosetta, connect to the Internet and open Readiris Pro 11.5 HP. If you cannot connect to the Internet, insert your Mac OS X installation disc, open the Optional Installs folder, and double-click Optional Installs.
