Scanner Err 22 on LaserJet 1212nf-Mac OS

Getting a Scanner error 22 when trying to make a copy on LaserJet 1212nf.  Powering on/off clears error, but recurrs when copy started again  Can't run diagonostic utility on Mac

Hi

 

I request you to update the printer firmware

 

Please connect printer to Mac via USB cable, click on the below web link -- click on Download and save the file first once download is complete you will get HP Firmware update, click on it and select printer listed as USB and follow on screen instructions

Make sure that printer power cord is connected directly to Wall Outlet

I have a PC what download would I use to solve this same issue.
