Scanning with hp psc 2310 - shared library error

Hi,

I've recently purchased a MacPro (Osx 10.6.8).

I've installed my hp psc 2310 all-in-one printer but the scanner doesn't work. Everything else works but the scanner.

It says: The application "HP Scan" could not be launched because of a shared library error: "<HP scan><HP Scan><TWAIN Source Manager.Shlb><".

 

Can anyone help?

Sorry, all sorted. I didn't need to install the driver. It's all included in the new mac! Thanks.

I have the same error with another printer

Installed the printer driver.

and now nothing works, I guess I shouldn't have as I also have leopard 10.6

 

could you tell me houw you fixed it ?

I just found out you can scan from Image Capture on your Mac instead of using HP Scan :smileyhappy:
