The latest SMU from the HP website (U.04.00_GM.dmg) says: "unable to open because Power PCs are no longer supported".
However: my MacPro ist not a Power PC but an Intel-based machine. Where can I get the appropriate SMU software?
Thanks

Hi
Please try this one:
It's for another designjet, but it's intel, and may work for your model as well.

Hi
Been there, done that: the software immediately quits "unexpectedly" (as it says),
You can click a button "relaunch". Then it restarts and quits again.
Thanks anyway

Hi,
Has there been any update on this issue?
I have successfully installed the driver for the printer in the OSX 10.7 environment but no such luck with finding a compatible SMU install...
The link HP Designjet 130 Printer series - Download drivers and software and sublinks have been of no help but only to send me in loops/circles trying to find a solution.
The instructions in the PDF, have been no help as running the Apple Software update does not locate any new software to install.
Seems like the only solution is to download/install the Windows version but that requires the addition of a Windows OS.
Anyone have any ideas if there is or will ever be a solution?
Thanks in advance for any advice, help, light on the situation.
