Hp Officejet J4680. Ser.CN9C5060HF
Mac 10.8
Recent update from HP
Recently changed from Tiger 10.4 directly to M.Lion 10.8. No probs scanning in the past. Getting error message as follows:
Could not complete the import command because of a problem with the acquisition module whilst scanning into CS3.
Does this mean that my printer/driver/s are no longer compatable with 10.8? I can scan in other areas/programmes but not this one or in Office 2011 it appears. It's rather like having a horn but not being able to use it.
Is this something HP can help and advise me on please?

Hi,
The drivers for your printer for ML provided by Apple via Apple Software Update.
The provided software only include ICA-Compliant scan interface (As well as almost any HP software solution provided for Lion or above).
As CS3 only support Twain-Compliant devices, therefore you cannot scan directly via Adobe Software..
You may scan using any ICA-Compliant software as Image Capture, Preview, Print & Scan, etc.
Then you may launch the scanned file using CS3.

Shlomi
