What Software Should I Delete? [ Edited ]

I am successfully running my HP Laserjet 1160 and HP Officejet 6310 under Snow Leopard (Mac OS X 10.6). My question now is what software left over from my prior install of HP AIO software should I now delete? I have the following:

I have the same question. I assume that after upgrading to Snow Leopard one may delete the entire "Hewlett-Packard" folder found in the Applications folder; is that correct? Also, is there anything else that should be trashed?

I decided to simply run the Uninstaller, which eliminated pretty much everything the HP folder. I then reinstalled the drivers from Optional Installs package on the Snow Leopard CD. So far, so good.

Hopefully going through the uninstall and reinstall is not necessary. My hope is that you can just delete the entire folder and that is it. Any official work on this from HP?

I really didn't take very long and it's probably more complete, removing not just the files visible under Applications but underlying Library items, Preferences, Application Support items, scripts, etc. It might be worth the extra steps.

I have this questions too - really don't feel like digging my Snow Leopard install disk back out just to get rid of broken hp software.

I don't consider this issue resolved so I hope someone from HP can give us an official response to the question and tell us exactly what can be deleted and how best to do so. I have a number of HP printers up and running in SL on three Macs here and don't intend to do anything to undo what is not working great just to get rid of some outdated software.

Someone from HP, please respond to this post with and answer!

Perhaps I was too hasty in marking this "Resolved" -- I don't suppose there's a way to "Unresolve" a problem or post? I wasn't hearing any solutions to my original post so I decided that simply Uninstalling the package and then loading the SL drivers from the DVD was the fastest way to get where I wanted to go and would be the cleanest solution I could think of. I have work to do and did not want to sit around waiting for someone to tell me what to delete. Life is too short.
