Where can I find the OSX Lion (10.7) Drivers and software for my HP Photosmart Plus 210b?

I cant get my 210b scanning software to work after upgrading to Lion. Theres a 10.7 link on the drivers page but it comes up page not found

Are you trying to scan from HP Scan application, or using Preview or Image Capture (import scan) ?

With the printer turned on and connected to the Mac via USB or network, check Apple Software Updates for HP driver updates.  If yes, download and you'll get the latest driver, plus scan files to enable direct scanning using Apple's Preview or ImageCapture application.

Is there a possibility someone from HP will fix it? I'm starting getting annoyed with HP products. First "cannot connect to printer - offline" issue, then this..

Hi,

A full feature software for the Lion Mac OS is not yet available.

If the software has been installed and running while the OS upgrade been preformed, it should continue running with no issues.

If you have any problem, you may try removing the Printer from the Print and Scan printers list, reboot your Mac and run the HP Setup Assistant located under Applications\Hewllet-Packard\Device Utilities in order to reconfigure the device.

While it is done, make sure to chack for available HP updates (Apple Manu > Check for Software Updates),

For any case the software was not installed, make sure to connect it either by USB cable or to the same network as the Mac, click the + Sign located under Print & Scan and select the printer.

A Basic software will be installed, including Print, Fax and Scan by the Apple Scan Interface.

Make sure to check for software updates after the printer was added as well.

Whenever I go through these steps to setup my OfficeJet 6500A Plus, the drivers file gets downloaded that is supposed to be for OSX 10.6 and Lion. However, when clicking on the dmg file to do the driver install, an error is returned stating that it only works with 10.6 and that I'm on 10.7. Seems odd to me that HP would lable a printer driver file stating that it specifically works with Lion only to have the file itself error and state otherwise. How do I get my printer to work with Lion given this issue? To say I'm frustrated would be a HUGE understatement. Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

I get the same issue where it tells me that the driver will not install on my 10.7 osx, The update doesnt help people who have never had the printer installed previously. My mac is brand new and I cant install my printer thats a month old. Brutal. When can we expect an update?

I came across this thread looking for a solution to the issue of my printer that stopped working AGAIN!

I've had this thing working, and not working, several times, and it's getting to the point where it's become a real pain.

Please, HP, implement a solid solution that will allow your printer to work on OS X Lion, and share it with us...

Hi,

The Full Feature Software for Lion became available a while ago.

If you have any HP Software currently installed on your printer, make sure to remove it by launching the HP Uninstaller, located under Applications > Hewlett-Packard.

Then download and install the Full Software below:
