Will Photosmart-5510d-series work on OS X 10.4.11 [ Edited ]

 Photosmart-5510d-series. How can I get this printer to work on OS X 10.4.11?

The  HP Photosmart 5510 e-All-in-One Printer - B111a  is not supported in Mac OS X v. 10.4.  Just 10.5 and higher.

Hopefully you can return it.  For future reference, we always have the supported Operating Systems listed on the box along with other specifications. 

It is going to be difficult to find a new printer that supports 10.4.  I believe the HP Photosmart e All in One D110 was the last printer we had that supported it.

Unfortunately 10.4.x is no longer support by HP or Apple. I would recommend upgrading to 10.5 at the lease, newer if possible.

i have found that if you use the driver HP Desk-jet series CUPS V.1.1 you will able to print. i have done this many times. i have an eMac.
