I don't think so.  Its probably time to upgrade your Mac / OS.  You will continue to run into more and more incompatibility now that it is 3 full OS revs behind.

I cannot upgrade to Mac OS 10.6 because I have $2000.00 worth of software I use in my business that is not compatiable.  I have to remain at 10.5.8.  So looks like I will need to find a different model that does.  I have seen that several do.  Thanks

Agreed. The glib advice to "get another computer" is not persuasive to those of us who invested in pre-Intel Macs, as any upgrade would require us to update all our costly software. We are highly motivated to preserve our investment, particularly with declining wages. Some manufacturers include 10.5.8 for this reason. I bought a new router last month that fit 10.5.8. When we can't find it used, we'll buy used or find other work arounds to stay current. It's an occasional headache, but I'm happy as long as I'm running Adobe Creative Suite, email, and the Internet.

I'm the above poster.

 

The HP 4620 is compatible with Mac 10.5.8.

 

Felt obliged to add that the HP Escalation Team worked with me to replace my 5520 with a 4620. Just a matter of a two calls and an email, which was fine considering I had edged past the store's return date.
