Hi
you did not mention how the printer is connected to Mac via USB or wireless
Please connect printer to Mac via USB cable
click on the below web link, then cilck on Download
Once download is complete, you will see HP Installer or OPen, click on Open, then click on HP Installer
Select I Agree from license Agreement, and then select Printer listed as USB, select HP Recommended software
Follow on screen instruction to insall printer software driver
Select Continue from HP Setup Assistant window -- select printer listed as USB -- select Configure wireless -- click on Next -- enter your Home Network Name -- enter password or WEP key of your home network, click on Continue
You will get the prompt to disconnect printer USB cable from Mac, then disconnect printer USB cable and then click on Continue.
Click on Add Printer, wait for few seconds, you will see printer listed as Bonjour Multifunction under kind
select it and then click on Add
Select Register later from Registration window
click on Continue
Then try to print from Mac
Please perform the below step on the printer touch screen, if you see bluelight steady glowing on the printer touch screen
Touch the right arrow -- touch Wrench icon -- web Service Menu -- Product updates -- check for Updates
