desk jet 820 cse work with macbook air

I am looking to see if my old model HP Deskjet 820 Cse printer can be used with a MacBook air.

Hi,

 

HP doesn't make drivers for this anymore, so it isn't supported by HP.  However, you might be able to use a driver built into the OS like Gutenprint.  Just add the printer and then scroll through the driver choices to see if there is a Gutenprint driver.  If not, it may be time to upgrade.  We have several economical deskjets available from HP.
