error printing message comes up on computer as processing starts

My eMac was connected to my HP Photosmart C4750 and working fine till recently I tried to replace it with another computer which wasn't communicating with the Mac so I reconnected it but now it won't print. The printer Utility also keeps quitting. What do I do?

What version of OS X?  Is the printer connected wirelessly?  If so, what router?
