Will this printer be able to print a 70mb file quickly without adding extra ram. Will it take more than a couple minutes?

I don't know how long it will take to print but you cannot add RAM to HP inkjet printers, anyway.  They really don't need it as they are not page-formatted printers.

 

Unlike many Laser printers, the whole page does not have to be sent to the printer before it starts printing.  The computer can send pieces of the page at a time and the printer prints what it gets.

 

Now, whether you need more RAM in your computer to process for printing a 70MB file, that is another quesion.  It depends on a lot of things about your computer.....
