hp officejet 6500a plus prints microsoft word and excel documents, but will not print pdf's.

Device: HP Officejet 6500A Plus 

 

My printer is printing excel and word documents (tested today) just fine.  HOWEVER IT WILL NOT PRINT PDF's from ADOBE.

 

MAC OS 10.5.6.

 

Error messsage:   can't open `/private/var/spool/cups/tmp/4f4fc5cdeb462'

 

Please help!

Hi,

Please try the following and let me know if that helps:

 

From Adobe reader, click File > Print to open the print dialog.

Click the Advanced button.

Check the Print as Image option and try printing.

 

If there is no change, try setting the Font & Resource Policy  to send for each page and check for any difference.
