hp photosmart d110 will not print in black.

When I perform cartridge clean black shows up. Align and no black.

Printing anything from my PC/Mac and no black shows up.

The ink was low so I refilled the cartridge.

Re: hp photosmart d110 will not print in black.

Hey Matt!

To be honest. This printer is meant to print photo quality pictures.

So, if you are refilling the cartridges that will create a problem. Cause every cartridges comes with ink in it. That may be dye based or pigment based (semifluid).

Printhead consist of passage(hole) is meant accordingly that how much ink should be spread over the page.

If you are refilling it. That may become dilute or concentrated...so, Nozzles may become damage...

I think in your case it is clogged...

All we need to do try a new cartridge Genuine HP.

Sorry if i made any mistakes...

Thanks, but I do not believe this to be the case.  I have been refilling ink cartridges through 3 different printers. (and have saved hundreds of dollars).  I believe that there is a counter inside the printer that turns the cartridge off.
