i have a hp psc 750xi printer, scanner, copier, however i own a mac computer, can someone help me?

I am not a tech-savy person and would appreciate it if someone could walk me step by step on what I need to do to connect my HP PSC 750xi printer to my Mac computer?  Is someone willing to help me?

Hello ssagucio.

I will be glad to assist you, howeer I will need you to provide me some more information to better understand which options are available for your OS.

From the Mac OS, click the Apple icon.

Now click About This Mac.

What is the OS X version listed on this window?

Regards,

Shlomi

You are gladly welcome.

The specific model is quite older and HP no longer provide drivers for any OS X higher than v10.1

However, you may still get some basic functionality using a 3rd party software:

You may install the 3rd party hpijs drivers which support your printer:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/hplip/files/hplip/3.10.6/hplip-3.10.6.tar.gz/download

Once the installation completes, follow the steps below to Setup the printer:

http://www.linuxfoundation.org/collaborate/workgroups/openprinting/macosx/hpijs#Printer_Set_Up_Instr...

To scan using the device you may use any 3rd party scanning software which include the scan drivers within the software. As Vuescan for example

Hope it helps,

Shlomi
