i have just installed a deskjet 3050a and cannot access with airprint from my ipad2 and ipod touch

The printer is installed via USB to a MAC OSX 10.6.8 and is printing fine from that and from a notebook via printer sharing.  The iPod touch found the printer initially but not since.  It is very frustrating as the only reason I bought the printer was for the airprint capabilities.  Hope someone can help - not too technical please!  Thanks.

Hi, not sure how I can check if my iPad can talk to my MAC wirelessly?  My printer is showing the blue light, indicating it is connected to the wirless network and when I printed a "Wireless Network Test" from the printer it said "no problems found, congratulations etc etc.  Just disconnected the USB and tried to print wirlessly from my MAC and that didn't work either.

Looks like the printer is in a network of itself. There are few ways to set up Network printers, please refer to this to re-install the printer:

Thanks for all your help.  Uninstalled and re-installed the software but still no joy.  Have now emailed Belkin as I read somewhere about Bonjour packages (whatever they are!).  Maybe that's what is causing the problem.  If not, the printer goes back to Amazon as I have now had enough.

Hi, I did install the printer wirelessly and the blue light was lit, confirming it had wireless connection to my router but it still could not be found by my iPad or iPhone and only managed to print one document wirelessly from my MAC losing the wireless connection, although blue light still showing.  Have now sent the printer back to Amazon and gone back to my old HP printer which connected immediately even though I had deleted the drivers.  It is not wirless though.

Did you select ePrint  while installing the driver and make sure that you have select Hp Recommended during the installation
