printer 3054 willl not hook up wireless with lion 10.7.  do you have a printer that will work?

will 3054 become compatible at some time?

what do you recommend?

is there software to make c6380 compatible,

The 3054 model fully supports Lion.

The wireless configuration should be done by using the software available on the HP site and not the original CD, which is intended for 10.6 and below:

The C6380 is compatible by using the basic driver available from Apple Software update.

You should connect the printer with your Mac first,

Then enter System Preferences > Print & Scan

Click the Plus sign and the driver will be retrieved from Apple Software Update.

If the driver could not be retrieved for some reason, you may install the Full HP Printer Drivers package and then add the printer by clicking the Plus sign:

Hi,

I also cannot get the 3054 printer to work with my Lion 10.7.  The computer and printer were sold as a package from Apple so I would hope that they work together.  I downloaded the link you suggested using the HP software on the HP site and that link doesn't show the 3054 as an available printer.  Is it part of the 3050 series?  Only 3050 series and some 2000 and 1000 series are listed (not 3054!) Please advise.  Thanks.

The HP Deskjet 3054 is a part of the 3050 series, as you can see the specific file is listed as compatible for your specific model below:

Please make sure to plug the USB cable directly to a free USB port on your Mac before running the installation, then it should recognize your device and allow you to configure the Wireless connection during the installation.
