printer not printing top of page

I have been trying to print some photographs and each time the image is overrunning the top of the page and leaving a margin at the bottom.  This also happened when I printed a diagnostic page.  How do I correct this.

Printhead alignment sorted the problem.

The printer is a Photosmart Premium C310A (CN503B).  Aligning the printer head was suggested but this was only part of the problem.  It did improve but a subsequent call to HP suggested the printer head was faulty and would be replaced under warranty.  The new head arrived yeserday so I hope this is now sorted.
