Photosmart Plus B210A. The top line (header) in both Safari and Firefox prints half off the top of the page. It should be be maybe 1/8th inch lower. The footer would still be on the page if both were moved down a little. Imac running OS 10.6.7. Printing wireless with local Lynksys router. I updated to the 3.2 printer driver, but it didn't help.

Does this issue only occur when printing from web browsers?
Try creating a word document with either headers/footers, and/or page numbering and try to replicate the issue in a non-web browsing application.
If the issue occurs regardless of the application, check to ensure that you are not forcing the paper in too far when loading the input tray - on several printers (if not all) it is possible to push paper further forward than intended.
When loading the paper on this specific printer, once inserted as far as needed for the pick-up roller to be able to grab the paper, the bottom edge of the paper should be lined up with the outline graphic that shows the paper/envelope feed orientation (see image)

Thanks. The problem is a web browser problem. MS Word or Pages won't print anything within 1/8th of an inch from the top of the page. (If I decrease the header margin to zero inches, the bottom 1/2 of the header text line is printed, right up to the top 1/8th of an inch, which is blank).
The web page header prints to the very top edge of the paper, cutting off the upper half of the text (anything higher than lower case a, o, n, etc).
So its a web brower problem. However, it seems to be HP printer specific (my Canon printer on my older iMac doesn't do this).
Any way to fix that? My guess is that the HP software isn't handling the web header correctly. I know, it ain't the end of the world, but it is annoying!!!

Check to make sure that in your browser, you have the right setting for Print Headers and Footers. I have included screenshots of Safari and Firefox below.
Safari - Print Headers and Footers (Checked)
Firefox - Ignore Scaling and Shrink to Page WIdth (This setting can be a double-edged sword with some pages as it can make the printed page so small that it is unreadable)
Have you already looked into these options?

Thanks for your suggestions.
When I hit print on a web site in Safari, the screen looks just like your screen shot: Print Header and Footer is checked and the header and footer are visible on the page viewed. Likewise in Firefox, Ignore Scaling is checked, and in Preview, the header and footer are clearly where they belong, on the page.
So the web site printing problem doesn't show up on the computer screen, only on the HP B210 printer. The printer doesn't print what the computer screen shows.

Partial solution.
OS 10.6.7 HP B210 and driver 3.2
Both Safari and Firefox have a Layout choice (if you click on Safari or Firefox). In Safari, in Layout, selecting a Hairline Border prints a line around the edge of the page (there are 4 choices of lines). The header and footer are then a different font, smaller, and inside the Border lines (that is completely on the top of the page). And, toggling off the Border leaves the same small header and footer, without the hairline!!! In contrast, Firefox doesn't print the hairline or change the size and placement of the header.
