I am having the same problem wirelessly with OSx 10.7.3 - no scan or printing capability
Tried to connect via the ip address - it will not connect
Downloaded HP2.8 s/w and installed
Cleared printers and reinstalled them
prior to printing it checks ink so I know it is connected
will not work wirelssly from the Mac side
I does work wirelessly with Parallels and Windows 7 which I set up with HP S/W.
Not sure what else to do. The wierd thing is I have the same setup at work - where it works (wirelessly and wired), at home I have an airport extreme.

thanks for your quick rssponse-
If by reset printing system you mean depower and restart - yes - after turning off router - plugging router in and then powering up printer - which reatins same ip address it had before depowering
then I delete the printer under fax and printers using the method decsibed
when I try to print - it checks ink and then goes to the print job and then keeps showing "looking for printer"
When I try to scan wirelessly, I get a afrozen wheel/ball (doesnot spin) and then a message "failed to open session on a device"

Hi Dean, just went to scan something and got the message;
Scanner communication cannot be established.
ENVY 110 series [8D4C56] is currently unavailable. Ensure your device is powered on, check the connection, and ensure your network is functioning properly. If these conditions are correct, restart the device and try scanning again.
Your advice got the printer working fine last time but it seems to have gone back to square one again
I've tried restarting my mac and the printer & wifi but still getting the same message, I shouldn't have to reset and reinstall the printer every time I want to use it.
