I would like to welcome you to the HP Support Forums!
I understand that you are having a problem with your audio devices working with Skype on your HP Envy PC. I will try my best to help you with this problem. To better assist you, could you please tell me the full model number and the operating system that is running on it. Here are some guides for How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number? and Which Windows operating system am I running?
In the meantime, in this document for No Sound from the Speakers (Windows 7) it explains how to use the Microsoft Sound Troubleshooter, which should help to resolve this problem.
I hope the helps, please let me know.
Thank you and have a great day!

Thank you for the information. I have a couple of documents that I hope will help with this issue.
This document for Using Skype to Make Voice and Video Internet Calls (Windows 8) explains how to set up for using Skype.
If that does not resolve your issue here is a document from Sykpe for No audio when called that explains what to check for when you do not have sound.
I hope this information helps, please keep me posted.
Good luck and have a great day!
