Install the IDT high definition audio driver for Windows 8. The Beats software is part of the software package.

Install the IDT HD driver from the recovery manager.

 

Was there an update that happened before it stopped working?

You might consider using Windows system restore to put the system back to a date before the Beats application disappeared. Windows system restore won't affect your data or document files.

What if its a clean install and you don't have the restore option?
