Hello maxgor16. Welcome to the HP Forums. I understand the computer's sound no longer works. It could be as simple as reinstalling the correct driver. To assist you properly, I do require the following information:

2. The computer's operating system. If you require assistance locating this information, please reference this website to determine your Windows operating system.
3. Have you installed any new hardware on this computer, before the issue appeared?
4. Have you installed any new software or drivers on this computer, before the issue appeared?
Alternatively, you can use HP Support Assistant to possibly install the correct driver. For more information on how to do this, please reference this HP document: Downloading or Updating Software and Drivers for HP Computers
This document will provide instructions on how to use Support Assistant to download and install drivers. You might be able to resolve the issue with this method. If not, please provide the requested information and I will assist you further. I'm only here to help!
