Hi, I bought a hp pavilion dv6-6c35dx a little over a year ago and I've noticed that over the last several months, the beats audio has not been working through the speakers. I can hear fine if I plug in headphones, but the speahers refuse to work. I've made sure I had the speakers off mute, but even at full volume I cannot hear anything. I'm fairly gentle with my laptop so I assumed it was just a troubleshooting issue. If anyone can tell me how to get my speakers to work, it would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the HP Community! So you are getting no sound from the speakers at all but it works with the headphones. If that is the case is sounds like a hardware issue. One thing that you can do is to check to make sure that the headphones are not set to the default audio device when they are removed.
If that isn't the case then you will need to have the speakers looked at. If you are still in warranty then you should call HP Total Care at 1-800-474-6836 in North America or visit the link below if you are outside North America.
