Dv4 Blink Code question

Explanation Blink Codes

The link explains = "The LEDs will blink a number of times in a sequence and then stop"

"The number of blinks in the sequence indicates what component caused the error"

My question is; The LED lights near the Caps Lock and Num Lock keysare blinking once every 3 seconds with no pause.

This link doesn't explan timeing so is mine blinking a Code 1?

I would interpret that as 1 blink. The 3 seconds between blink is the pause. You might try a hard reset to see if that helps.

Disconnect all external devices first.

1-remove power cord and battery

2-press power button for 30 seconds

3-reinstall only power cord for first startup.

4-power on

I also think this seems like a Code 1 which mentions a CPU problem. I preformed a Hard reset when I first received the laptop and the strange thing is my daughter just brought her laprtop over (DV7) with exactly the same problem with the same blink pattern.

I'm hoping this is something someone can comment on.
