Hi,
My friend's new system refused to power on, so since it was under warranty, I took it back to where i bought it from. After it was returned, when you start the system it shows you the following information
Product Information not valid
The following product information programmed into the system board is missing or invalid
System board (00A) - Product Name
System board (00A) - Product Serial Number
System board (00A) - Product Number
Enter - Continue Startup

Hi,
Unfortunately you'll need to contact the service centre again as it looks like they've forgotton to 'tattoo' the system board - the requires a dmi tool which is only available to HP.
