Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I had a broken screen and was using the laptop  with HDMI to my TV screen.  I tried resetting the harddrive to original to get rid of excess software and potential viruses because it was running slow.  I did not realize that the computer would not automatically recognize the HDMI connected screen.  So when I started the reset I lost the screen and could not do anything.  I bought and installed a replacement screen which seems to work fine, but all I get is the blank screen with the HP logo in the middle and a continuous reboot loop.  What can I do?

HP Pavilion 17 Notebook PC J9N56UA#ABA.  I had tried fn+f11 from other posts to no avail.  ESC worked though to get me to a menu where I could see I was doing something.  Then by trial and error I found that ctrl+f11 works.  Recovery complete.  Your find the model instructions told me about the ESC key.  Thanks for the help.
