Hi,

 

Are you talking about EXTERNAL monitor or else ? Based on its specs, its native resolution 1280 x 800:

i am talking about the notebook display itself.
when i had vista installed it used to show 1680*1050 screen reolution.
the drivers downloaded shows the same on hp site:

Fix/Enhancement:

  • Fixes issue where media content display is "blocky" during playback when the notebook is running a Microsoft Windows Vista Operating System.
  • Fixes issue where 1680 x 1050 resolution is not shown in the Mode list.
